Delete document that auto appears everytime I open Word?

How do I get rid of a document that appears everytime I open Word? I should
be getting a blank document but the same one always appears.
This is very annoying. How do I fix it?

Find Normal.dot on your system and rename it to Normal.old. Word will
create a new blank one next time you open it. You will likely need to
look in hidden and system folders in your search.
