delete duplicate calendar

After doing a re-install of my Outlook to get it to work with a third party
app I now have two calendars and two sets of contacts. I have migrated
everything over into one of each and thought I would be able to delete the
extra copy--not so. It tells me some files cannot be deleted. Does someone
know of a way to get rid of these duplicates? Thanks for any suggestions.

How did you "migrate" your data?
Normally one would simply R click and close files from Outlook. If you can't
do that, then you corrupted your profile when you migrated the data.

I didn't migrate it per se--in fact I didn't realize anything would happen to
the data when I reparied/reinstalled Outlook, so it sounds like I did corrupt
my profile. Can you suggest an easy way to fix that? I don't mind
re-installing again if need be but am not sure how to migrate my good data
over and not the bad data. Thanks for your help!

Are you saying that you cannot R click and close the duplicate set of
folders?
Reinstalling and repairing will not help.
There are plenty of instructions for how to create a new profile:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;829918&Product=out2003
Just make sure you keep track of where your Outlook Data file is so you can
open it in this new profile and set it as your default.

That's right---when I R click and choose close it says "the operation failed,
an object could not be found."
