Delete email template VISTA (cant get folder in Explorer)

I've created an email template and saved it to :

c:\users\kasmcc\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\*.oft

I've used windows explorer to try and find the file, and cannot find the
Appdata folder.

I've tried the search facility to find the *.oft file, but the system says
'no items found'

Does anyone have any idea how to find the hidden folders ?

(I'm new to vista, having been forced from my XP machine screaming and
kicking)

AppData is the first folder under your user name.
..
Press <Windoews> and <E> together to start Explorer and look under your user
name which you gave as "kasmcc"

There is a very good and fast and free search program called "Everything" at
http://www.voidtools.com/
