delete extra pages in a document????

does anyone know how to delete extra pages in word? I
only have text on the first page. Seven pages after that
are empty and I can't get rid of them!

Please help!!!!

Meghan,

if there are extra spaces and pages appearing in your
document, try turning ON the paragraph marker on your
toolbar. This will enable you to see manual and hard line
breaks. When you can see them, you can also delete them.
Go to the last line, or what you want to be the last line
of your document and try repeatedly pressing the delete
key. Of course, you can also select the entire group and
delete them all at once too.
