delete key stuck on off need help to get it to work again

when I try to use the delete key in a document a mlessage comes up at the
bottom of eh screen that says Delete Block no (yes). How do I get rid of
this and how did it get like that in the first place???

HELP

In Tools > Options > General, uncheck both options that mention WordPerfect.
