Delete key

I have chedked off the WordPerfect references in Options. I no longer get the Delete Block? extra procedure. But my delete key does not work in Word now! It does work in other programs that are not Word. What is going on here?

Faye,

The problem is that you have checked one or more of the boxes relating to WordPerfect in tools/options/general.
If you uncheck any box that talks about WordPerfect, the delete key should work perfectly. I had the same problem and now everything is in good shape.
