Delete Leading/Trailing Blanks

I am seeking a mechanism (perhaps a macro?) to strip away any leading or
trailing blanks from each line of text in a Microsoft Word 2003 document.

Your recommendations on how to achieve this objective are appreciated.

The easiest way is to select the text, center it horizontally
(which automatically strips leading and trailing spaces), and
then left- or full-justify it again (whichever you prefer).

Greg, thank you for the extremely helpful tip. Your add-in for Word
accomplishes the task well.
