Delete messages in Entourage, just brings it back triple!

Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I can't seem to remove emails from Entourage. The Database has grown HUGE and I'm running out of HD space. I've gone into the inbox, selected by size and tried to delete the largest files. Everything seemed to work fine, but the next day when I launched Entourage, I noticed the size issue had returned. When I searched by size, all the emails had returned, but now there are THREE versions of the same emails!

What can I do?

do you click on delete message from server? have you checked your settings on your server?
