Delete non-recurring not happening!

Entourage 2004 Mac Version 11.3.3 (061214)

Mac OS 10.4.10

Calendar Preferences set to Delete non-recurring older than 1 week.

Simply put, they aren't being deleted.

I do sync with my Palm using The Missing Sync Ver 5.1.2.

Suggestions?
