Delete OneNote Tasks

When I delete a task from OneNote, it still exists in Outlook. Should I do
any additional steps to delete for the task to be deleted from Outlook
automatically?

I have found that at times, the link between a Task definition in OneNote
and Outlook gets lost. Normally, when you delete a linked Task in one
program, it should get updated/deleted in the other program. Doesn't
always happen.
