Delete Outlook 2003 Taskbar Icon

I know how to hide the Outlook 2003 Taskbar Icon, but how do I delete it?
Any help out there...

Can I ask you, why do you not want the outlook icon to appear on your
taskbar? I would like to help you if I can...

Any application running under windows needs a handle on the Task bar or in
the System tray. There's no way around that.
