Delete Outlook Rules

RichardM

I'm running Outlook 2002 w/o Exchange which means that I can not run the
rules wizard to modify or delete rules. I can create rules and have reached a
point where my rules list no longer makes sense. I said all of that to ask
this: how do I delete the file where the rules are kept? I know that a
complete de-install of Office would wipe everything but there has to be
another way. Thanks.

Not sure about Outlook 2002 but a .rwz file holds all rules in prior
versions. I am not sure if the Rules are stored in the .pst file as they
are in Outlook 2003 - haven't had occasion to research. If it is in the
..rwz file. just rename it.

The rwz files was a good idea but it didn't work for 2002. Presuming for a
moment that the rules ARE in the pst file (and not somewhere else), is there
a way for me to export the file and extract the rules? Thanks.
