Delete Query + Apply Filter Error

Hi,

I have a button control running a delete query.
However after delete clause I would like to docmd.requery to refresh it.
But I got a message: You can't use the apply filter now.

By the way, record is deleted and reflected only after I re-login the form
again.

Anyone could possibly provide some guide?
