Delete records from one table based on the data in another table

Okay, I've got a database containing 2 tables: 1) Aprox.
1500 records which I'm going to mail merge at a later
date, and 2) A (slowly growing) table of ID numbers that
relate to a field of ID numbers in the 1st table.

When I've gathered all the data that's going into table 2,
I want to use that data to filter out the same records as
are in table as from table 1 - therefore creating a new
table with basicly, all the records that weren't in table 2

Any suggestions?

P.s. I realise I might not have explained this very
clearly, please email me on the address above if
anything's not clear.
