Delete redundant spaces in text boxes

Dear Experts:

I got a document with hundreds of text boxes. I would like to delete
all redundant spaces in these text boxes using either VBA or the built-
in 'Search and Replace'-Functionality.

Help is much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

A simple but possibly time-consuming solution is to search for two
spaces and replace with one; repeat the find & replace operation as needed.

I'm sure someone could come up with a more sophisticated way to do this
using a wildcard search or a macro.
