Delete row option on datagrid disabled after upgrade to 2007

I'm using datagrid style forms in several places in my application.
In access 2003 I can right click on the row header and select delete
record from the context menu. IF I open the same mdb file In 2007 the
delete item is disabled. What do I need to do to enable it in 2007?
