Is this calendar folder in your Exchange mailbox? A .pst file? Somewhere else?

Could you clarify please what you mean by "original one"? It is not possible
to delete the Calendar or any other default folder in an Exchange mailbox.

I am having a similar issue. I created a new folder, called Session, under
Calendar. I moved several appointments to this folder. I then deleted the
Session folder and the folder no longer appears under Calendar. However the
meetings I copied to the Session folder are popping up reminders. Because
these are copies I get two reminder messages for the same meeting. One shows
as being a meeting in Calendar and the other is a meeting in Session.
