This was a command in WordPerfect (Mac) that I miss.
Command-A (Command is Apple key or Cloverleaf key) which stand s for
select all The hit Delete key.

Follow Neil¹s suggestion. That¹s the way. BUT...
Be aware that you may want to be careful not to delete the very last
paragraph return mark. Word stores all of the document formatting in that
one little mark. If you delete it, you will revert to your normal template..
At least that was true in 2004. I assume the same for 2008.

looking to delete down from a specific point, this method will also
delete everything above it.
Bates said:put your cursor where you want to start deleting from. Hold Shift,
Command, and press End. This should select everything from where you
were to the end of the document. Then just hit delete.

Hi Phillip,
That only works though if you want to delete everything! If MC is
looking to delete down from a specific point, this method will also
delete everything above it.
This selects the whole document, surely? What I want to do is delete to
the endof the document from wherever I happen to have the insertion
point. Not the same thing at all.
