A custom form containing sensitive information ended up being sent to a
distribution group after deleting one of the mailboxes the form was set
to be delivered to.
Please help me explain this one!
VPs want to know .....
Exchange 5.5 - Outlook 2000
The form was saved as an oft file on the users desktop. She would click
it, fill it out and send (to 2 addresses not visible on the form) One
of the users accounts was deleted and the next time the form was used
it selected the first "mailbox" in the address book that just happened
to be a distribution group. She didn't notice an error message but is a
"click happy" user.
On another, possibly related note, I seem to remember a best practice
years ago recommending a dummy address or 2 placed first in the address
book " _account " or something like that as a security measure. Way off
base?
