Deleted Code Module!

I have been using Access for over 15 years, and I've never had a code module
"accidentally" deleted. Today, when using Access in Windows 7 for the first
time, within 5 minutes I had a code module deleted!

I was working in a form in an MDB file, using Access 2010, in Design mode,
adding a couple of buttons. The form has a long-established code module. I
right-clicked on one of the buttons, selected Build Event, and then selected
Code Module, and something happened that was too quick to see, and next
thing I know I have two forms open that I didn't open, and my form was
closed. When I went back and opened it in Design mode, the code module was
gone! WTF????? I didn't even know it was possible to delete a code module!

Like I said, this was my first time using Access in Windows 7, though I've
been using 2010 for well over a year, and haven't experienced anything like
this.

Anyone have any idea what's gone on, or ever experience anything like this?
Needless to say, this is making me very nervous about using Windows 7 going
forward.

Thanks!

Neil

Correction to what I wrote below. It wasn't when I clicked on Build Event
that it happened.

What happened was I clicked Build Event, and went into the code module. Then
I did Alt+Tab to go back to the database area. I clicked on a report object
and then did Ctrl+C to copy, then did Alt+Tab to go back to the code editor.
When I returned to the code editor, two additional code modules were open,
and the one I was working in was gone. Deleted.

I just tried it again, and a similar thing happened. Two additional code
modules were open, and the code module I had been working in had apparently
been closed and reopened (the cursor was at the top, instead of where I
left it; and a bookmark I had set was gone), but it was not deleted.

So, something screwy's going on.

Are there any known compatibility issues with Access 2010 and Windows 7? I'm
using 32 bit Access 2010 (v. 14.0.6112) in 64 bit Windows 7 Pro (SP1).

Thanks.
