Deleted documents do not go to the Recycle Bin.

When I delete files in Word 2003, Excel 2003 or Publisher 2003 they do not go
to the Recycle Bin. I have right-clicked and checked the settings on the
Recycle Bin icon. I have Office 2003 at another site and the Recycle Bin
works perfectly. I have exhausted all the Help files and would welcome any
suggestions other users may have. The Recycle Bin acts as a 'safety net' and
I am not keen to continue without it! Thanks for any ideas you may have.

First, you are in the wrong group. This group is for questions about
Microsoft Access.

Second, you left off the most important piece of information. What version
of Windows are you using?

The are lots of articles about the recycle bin in the Knowledge Base at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;KBHOWTO.

If you don't find your answer there, try asking your question in a Windows
group.

For Windows 98, there are 31 groups that all start with
microsoft.public.win98.

For Windows 2000, there are 29 groups that all start with
microsoft.public.win2000.

For Windows XP, there are 27 groups that all start with
microsoft.public.windowsxp.

Good luck.
