deleted draft

I was working on a response to an email and had not sent it yet. I don't
believe I deleted it, but when I went to continue drafting the response the
morning after I started the response, I could not find the response I had
been drafting the night before. It is not in the draft or deleted files. Is
there a temporary file that is kept or is there another way to retrieve my
draft email response?

It's only saved as a draft if you select Save when closing it or when closing
OL. If you left it open and closed OL, it's not saved.
