Deleted item show on Exchange server but not on Entourage client

Hi all,

I have one user who deleted and emptied unused items in his sent, and
inbox folders. As far as Entourage was concerned, it was empty, but on
the server, (viewing properties in Entourage) it was still present in
his deleted items folder. The server is Exchange server 2003 SP2, the
client is Office 2004, Entourage 11.3.3 and Mac OS 10.4.8
Any thoughts?

Hi Jack!

He may have quit Entourage before it was complete synchronizing with the
Exchange Server. I suggest opening Entourage, selecting the Exchange
account in the Folder List on the left and then typing Command + L to
force a synchronization. Let that stew for a while.

If that doesn't clear things up on the Exchange server then you may want
to just create a new identity and let your messages re-download from the
server. This would mean, though, you'd lose any rules and settings you
were using in the older identity.
