Deleted Macro

Adele Russell

I have a user who created and save a simple macro then
deleted it after a time. Now when the file is opened a
message appears advising of virus dangers and
containing 'Disable macro' and 'Enable macro' buttons.
The file doesn't contain any other macros. I have
selected Disable and saved the file but the message still
appears when to file is reopened. How can I stop the
message from appearing? Any help would be very much
appreciated.

Adele,

Press Alt plus F11 to get the VB editor. In the project window (upper left),
navigate to 'VBA Project(Book1)\Modules\Module1. Right click Module1 and
choose "Remove Module 1". Even after your user deleted the macro that
Module1 was created to contain, the module itself remained as an indicator.

OK. I give up. How did Adele manage to reply to Jason and Steve with them as
"sender"?

Adele's headers show she posted via CDO. I think she just typed/pasted them in.

(Watch for a post from you(?) to Steve's message.)

Thanks Dave.

Did notice Adele posted using CDO but did not connect. What a system<g>. No
wonder you have so many postings. You get your buddies to post as you<g>
