Deleted message folder in new IMAP account

I just set up a new IMAP account to replace my POP3. Now, when I delete a
message from my inbox, it no longer goes into my deleted messages folder;
instead it disappears. Is there a setting to fix this? (Sent messages still
go into the sent file.)
