Deleted messages from PDA

I am using Outlook 2003. We host the outlook on our server so we do not have
a pop address. I recently got a verizon PDA and use the wireless sync
whereby e-mails go to an verizon account and then to my phone. The problem
is when I delete the messages off the verizon e-mail, it deletes it off my
desktop outlook account. I know with pop settings there is a command to keep
e-mails, is there one when you host on the server?

I don't quite follow. If you access a server from Outlook, you must use
some type of account. What kind it is?

If the phone accesses the server directly, chances are the phone is using
POP, so it will be downloading and deleteing the messages from the server,
causing them to disappear in Outlook.
