Hi:
I don't know if this is something peculiar to using the OL 2003 file format,
but prior to using the 2003 file format, if I deleted a single occurrence of
a recurring event, it would no longer appear in Outlook. Only my future dated
appointments would be displayed. Now that I'm using the OL 2003 format, if I
delete a single occurrence of a recurring event, the item does NOT show in
the Day/Week/Month view but it DOES show in the list view! (I have turned ALL
filters off in both views.) For example, I have a recurring event called
"Garbage" to remind me to put the trash out every Sunday evening. On April
10th, I deleted the occurrence of the event for the 10th only. In
Day/Week/Month view, I only see the appointments in the future. I List View,
I see the events in the past as well.
This is very annoying as I delete all events once I've completed them or
archive them in a different Calendar folder.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening would be appreciated. If this is
how Outlook 2003 file format works by design, is it possible to convert back
to 2000-2 format?
Thanks in advance for your repsonse.
Dave
