Deleted Project still appears

Using Project Server 07, Web Access with Project Professional07.

I have created a project, saved it & published it. With Admin rights, I
deleted it from the Enterprise Project list via
ProjectServer>ServerSettings>DeleteEnterpriseProjects (and it no longer shows
when I go into Project Professional (on PROD server) & do
File>Open>EnterpriseProject & double click on “Retrieve the list of all
project from Project Server".

Can you please explain when I do File>Open in Professional(connected to PROD
server) and see "Enterprise Projects" highlighted on the left - on the right
I see a list of all my projects(that I deleted) (They are not the Enterprise
projects because I have not double clicked on "Retrieve the list of all
projects from Project Server" yet.)
1. So where are these projects stored and
2. How do I really delete them so they no longer appear when I do File>Open?

If you provide an email address I could send a screen print to illustrate my
problem.
Thanks ~ Jac

These are you local cache copies of the enterprise schedules. This caching
is new in 2007. It is mainly used to allow you to access schedules which
you keep checked-out and want to get back to after closing and opening
Project Professional online or offline later.

Your cache will not be aware that you deleted the schedules you are
referring to. Personally, other than keeping plans checked out, I find this
caching feature confusing and I always open my schedules from the "Retrieve
the list of all projects from Project Server." option.

Every schedule you touch will show up in your cache until you delete you
cache via Tools>Local Project Cached>Clean Up Cache

You can also delete all your cache files including the cached global by
going to Start>Run, entering %appdata%, then navigating to Microsoft>MS
Project and deleting the 12 and Cache folders.
