Deleted resource assignment still appearing in PWA

In one of the projects, earlier I had assigned a resource with ceratin tasks.
Later, as a correction, I have mistakenly DELETED (not removed the
assignments) the resource from the relevant column in Project Pro and then I
published the project. After that, I have tried all 3 publish types (All,
republish, new/change) one after another, but still could not stop from
reappearing these assignments in PWA's resource assignment screen. While, In
Project Pro, in Gnatt chart view, it rightly shows this dis-association, but
PWA screen is not.

How to sync PWA with Project Pro, as far as these task assignments are
concerned? I should not delete this project nor this resource, as they have
other active assignment/tasks.

If the resource's assignments are appearing in PWA as deleted assignments,
with a big black X shown in the Indicators column to the left of each
assignment, you can remove them by following the steps in this link:

Hi Dale,

Since I didn't want user to take any action to Hide (or delete) it, I
followed your suggestion of deleting it from the database table. It worked
like a charm. I also found few unnoticed deleted tasks in other projects, as
well. I can clean up those, later.
