Deleted tasks do not disappear after archiving

I followed the procedures for archiving projects from msprojectexperts.com.
All tasks disappear from resources' timesheets, except for deleted tasks. I
have removed these tasks from timesheets by using the query also from
msprojectexperts.com.

Does anybody know why the deleted projects don't disappear like the other
ones?

Because they are "deleted" tasks, they no are no longer affected by changes
you make in the plan. They aren't part of the plan anymore. These are
remnants, orphans if you will. Only a separate process such as using the
hide button or a query can affect these.
