1.) Click on the Office button
Click on Access Options | Advanced
Scroll down to Display. Set the Recent Documents to 0.

2.) Navigate to the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Settings

Delete the various MRU keys.

Note: This KB article:
How to edit the Windows registry to clear the list of
most recently used files in Office
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826208

includes the following registry key:

2007 Office suite
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\Open Find

However, this does not appear to be the correct key. Navigate to this key
instead:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access\Settings

Delete all MRUx, MRUDatex and MRUFlagx keys.
