Deleteing Project

Hello:

I am trying to delete projects using Project server/admin/clean up project
db option. I am getting the following error.

Header is "VBScript: Microsoft Office project Web Access 2003".
Message is " An error occured while completing the operation."

This does not give me any information on what or where its erroring out. Any
ideas/thoughts are welcome. We are using Project 2003 and Project Server.

Try to delete those projects using Project Cleaner utility.

Else try deleting from project professional Open window.

In both cases try to delete the project's sharepoint site first & then go
with deleting project. using any of these methods.

I faced the similar issue where couple of projects where showing twice in
PWA > Projects lists (not in Project Prof Open Projects window) with
different Project IDs. I tried every thing & at the end I deleted those
project manually from the database.

Thanks for the guidance. I was able to look at the Event Viewer log and
figured out it was a security issue. Had a trigger in one of the tables which
was causing this problem.
