Deletiing history in Applied Requests and Errors

I noticed there is a delete option in Applied Requests and Errors - is there
any benefit to users clearing out this history periodically? Is that
recommeded? I am wondering if there is any impact to system performance for
the users as this history builds in the screen that might help if we clear
out old history by having the users delete entries
