What happens when you try to use Office XP? How did you install it? I get
the impression you don't have the disks if you are wiling to buy it.

How to ask a question

I really need help. I had installed office xp professional on my vista
computer, thinking that it was ok, as long as I had deleted all
previous
installations. Now, I can't access any program or delete it. If I
need
to
but the new program, I'll do it, but I'd like to solve this problem.
Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft Office XP CD, even OEM, should work to uninstall Office XP and to
insert in your CD drive to qualify for the upgrade version of Office 2003 or
Office 2007.
When you are logged on as a administrator and try to uninstall using the
Office XP CDs what happens? Do you receive a error message?
Prior to Vista, uninstall problems could often be solved by booting to Safe
Mode and uninstalling there. You may want to try it.
You may want to check your Office XP installation CD for damage {especially
on the label side}. If you know someone with Office XP Professional {must be
the same edition as yours not, for example, Standard} borrow the
installation CD and use that one to uninstall.
