Deleting a field that had a lookup field

How do I delete a field that has had a lookup field in
it. When I try to the little help guy comes on and say
that I can not delete this field. It is part of one of
more relationships. If I want to delete this field first
delete it's relationships. How and where do I do this?

You will find the Relationships window under
Tools/Relationships. Right click the line that goes from
your field in question to the lookup table and select
Delete.

if you go to the relationships window on the toolbar, you can see wha
table is linked to the table which contains the record you are tryin
to delete.(If it is a 1 to many relationship)

Once you find this, go to that table and delete record it is linked to
(if it is safe to do so!
