deleting a non published project!!!

Hi
I have a problem with deleting on of my projects.
I’m the project administrator. I have three projects published for testing, I opened the project web access select those projects and opened them in project 2003 as one file.
I tried to edit the thirds file and then clicked on collaborate/publish new and changed assignments. It asked me that the project should be saved to continue so I’ve saved that project but not as published but as an ordinary .mpp on the desktop.
I got the tasks created and assigned to my self in my time line but the test failed I wanted to check if they’ll be under the Test 3 project or under the new projct2 which was created on the desktop (they were under project2 then test 3 which I don’t want it to happen )
I’ve deleted the file from the desktop ( I thought this will delete the tasks from my time line, as the case when deleting a published project)
It turns out that the tasks are still in my time line, so I rejected them then update my task sheet.( I think hiding them would have solved the problem better)
Now as an administrator I got the updated tasks to be updated in the project, I clicked on update all but I got that error saying that the project is not found(I’ve deleted it).
Now the problem is that these tasks are on my update page and can’t get rid of them?
I’ve tried to recreate the file but this doesn’t solve the problem!! Any ideas?
I need help please
