Short answer: Select the content on the page & delete it - Word will no
longer show you the "page" that content used to occupy. HOWEVER...
Word documents are not constructed on the basis of pages. IOW, if it's a 4
page newsletter you can't just remove page 2 & have pages 1,3, & 4
remaining. Word documents are structured based on the text content, so
you'll wind up with a 3 page doc instead of 4 but the content that follows
what you delete will shift up to fill the void created by the deletion. That
can have a dramatic effect on the layout & flow of the document.
There are ways to prevent that, but in order to determine which would be
appropriate it's necessary to know how the document is constructed to begin
with. In order to make that determination you need to have the non-printing
characters (¶) displayed in the doc & have an understanding of how the
paragraphs were formatted.
