Deleting a POP3 account

Hello.

Can somebody answer this question please.
I have created several folders within my inbox in Outlook 2007 where I
organise my email. If I delete an email account will these folders and
messages also be deleted from Outlook or is it just the account settings that
are removed from the PC.
