Deleting a Tab in a Shared Workspace

I am very new to one note and I’ve only been using it for 2 weeks so please
bare with me,

For some reason there has been a tab created named (Incoming JDK's copy) in
my shared notebook, I already have a tab named (Incoming) so I don’t know
what or why this is doing in my note book. Every time I try to delete this
tab it reappears in a couple minutes. I have even opened up the shared
folder on my desktop and tried to delete it but it deletes and then comes
back.

JDK is another user in this shared notebook but he doesn’t know why or how
it was created.

Any ideas would be helpful.

I'm not familiar with SharePoint integration with OneNote since it's been a
while since I've used SharePoint, but do you perhaps not have delete
permissions on the sharepoint site where the section is stored?

Just to get the scenario clear:
Is this on using *Sharepoint* (as Josh assumes) or just notebooks in a
shared device?

No I am actually using Groove to share the workspace sorry for not clarifying
that.

Does Groove support OneNote notebooks? I thought that it just used basic
file copy synchronization? If that's the case, then it may not be suitable
for OneNote. Unless Groove is smart enough to merge the notebooks, issues
like this can creep up because it's difficult to tell when something is
deleted on one side whether or not you should a) delete on the other side or
b) add to this side from the other side. Other issues are when the file
changes on both sides, a victim must be picked to lose data.

If you can switch to using file shares and OneNote's built-in
synchronization, then that's the best choice. Otherwise, if you have
SharePoint, that works too just not as efficiently.

Just found a reference to Groove's limitations with OneNote.
