Deleting a task

In Outlook 2003, I unintentionally moved a task to one of my personal email
folders. Now I can't get rid of it. Whenever I try to delete it, or move it
to my Tasks folder so I can (possibly?) delete it there, I get "The Tasks
folder cannot be found" - this, though I can see the Tasks folder both in the
folder list and in My Tasks. Any suggestions?

try dragging it to the Deleted Items folder as it can hold all types of
Outlook items.

Hi,
I tried that, but got "Can't move the items. The Tasks folder cannot be
found". Outlook knows it's a task, but it doesn't appear in the Tasks
folder, so it's confused, it seems.

Try starting Outlook once with the /resetfolders command switch.
