Deleting a task......

Maybe I'm brain-dead this Monday morn, - I've inherited a file where parts of
a separate separate schedule that I inserted into a master schedule I built.
I can't delete a single tase (1 indent level) and its 4 sub tasks (2 - indent
levels) without MSP03 wanting to delete that task and all other tasks and
subtask (about 25 tasks an 5 subs per tasks) of the inserted file - when
tried, it deletes about 250 tasks/subtasks and I can't use the "undo" button
to reverse the process...... I revert to the latest correct version and
start over. Suggenstion???

Deleting a summary task deletes all subtasks, including inserted projects.
In a master project they are just removed from the master project, not
completely deleted. If a subproject is inserted in the wrong place you can
delete it and reinsert it in a new or different master project.

Appreciate the help, I'll give it a try. This has been a bugga-boo.
