Deleting appointments in shared calendars

I need to delete a reccurring appointment from a shared calendar, if I
delete it then it deletes from my view of the calendar but another user
still sees the appointment. I have tried logging on as the mailbox user
and deleting it then and its the same. We are using Outlook 2003, 7 and
10. Any suggestions ?

Are you using cached mode and caching the shared calendar? You need to
wait a few minutes for it to sync up and if it doesn't sync up, either
disable cached mode and delete it or clear the cache and resync.
