deleting calendar items

Is there an easy way to delete old calendar items?
Archiving is not removing my old calendar items. Older
items (more than 6 months ) are being duplicated in my
calendar. When I synchronize my palm with outlook this is
causing replication of appointments sometime the same
appointment is replicated 5-6 times.

Sure. Switch to a table view like By Category to make it easy to see all
your items.
