Deleting Document from Word Work Menu

J

John McGhie

We are indebted to Aliquis for this solution, which will become known as
"doing an Aliquis" :)

1. Open Customize Toolbars and Menus
2. Choose Commands
3. Go to 'Tools Customize Remove Menu Shortcut'
4. Drag this to the Work Menu on the floating Menu toolbar
5. When added, double click it to change the name.
6. Exit Customize

When you now select that item it will delete the next Menu item you select.

Cheers

How do I delete a document from the Work Menu in Word 2008?

Or as "Looking at page 71 of 'Bend Word to Your Will', where it has been for
ages".

I told you that you need to read it one day, McGhie, if only to check how
many times "McGhie" is mentioned ... ;-))

And Daiya has an excellent article that discusses even more --
