Deleting documents in word

I tried to figure this out, how hard can it be!! How do you delete a document
stored in the recent history of WORD???? Please someone take me out of my

It can be very hard when Microsoft doesn't include any tools for it.

Which history (MRU) list are you referring to? Which version of Word?
