Deleting email addresses from Outlook auto fill data base

How do I delete records from my Outlook data base of
contacts -- it simply gets bigger and bigger even though
they are not retained in my desired smaller list of
Contacts within my Address book.

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

Perhaps you should be using autoresolution instead of autocompletion.
