Deleting email that is sending

I have an email with a large attachment stuck in my
outbox, it has been sitting there for over 24 hours
without sending. I have done everthing I can think of to
delete this email, as it is preventing the rest of my
outgoing emails from sending. Help! How do I get rid of
this message!!

Is it trying to send it? Says something about spooler already started when
you try to delete? If so, when it's trying to send, disconnect your
internet connection or unplug your LAN cable (depending on what you have).
After several minutes (be patient) it will time out. Then you should be
able to delete it. Don't forget to reconnect.
Another option is to log onto your ISP's webmail if they have one. From
there you can delete without opening the mail.
