deleting endnote separator in master documents?

Julian

Hi,

I have a master document with 14 chapters in it. I need to remove th
endnote separator and endnote continuation separator for the whol
document. I know how to do that in a standard document and it work
fine. I can also do it in a master document – I do it the standard wa
and delete both of them and then save the document and they are gone
When I open the master document up again they return! I can remove the
in an individual document but they return in the master document. I a
using Word XP but I have tried doing it in Word 2003 and the sam
problem occurs. Any ideas for a frustrated user?

Interesting. Sorry, no help from me, but some resources on master documents

Also note, by the way, that ExcelForum.com is a very inefficient way to
access these newsgroups. It is not an independent, self-sufficient website,
but simply piggybacks onto public, international newsgroups. It mirrors the
Microsoft public news server, and mirrors it slowly at that. Your questions
show up on the server hours after you post them, and it seems the answers
show up back at the site late. The majority of the people who may respond to
your question are not using the site.

See here for some suggestions on other ways to access the newsgroups.
