Deleting entire workbooks

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Can anyone tell me how to simply delete workbooks. In the process of practicing some spreadsheets i created several workbooks that I cannot delete. Thanks in advance!

On the Mac you cannot delete files through the Open or Save As dialogs as
you can on a Windows box. You need to navigate to the file in a Finder
window then drag it to the Trash or select it & key Cmd+delete.
