deleting excel macros

I created an excel macro, used it, and tried to delete
it. however, every time I open the spreadsheet, it asked
if I would like to "enable" or "disable" the macros.

I want them deleted! I did delete the macro, but the pop-
up questions persist.

How do I make them disappear, and the pop up questions
stop?

Jim, You also have to remove the modules on which the macros were stored,
